Ahmad Humayun is a data engineering and automation consultant based in Lahore, Pakistan. I specialize in turning messy reporting workflows, APIs, files, and warehouse data into reliable analytics systems.

My work spans Google BigQuery, Apache Airflow, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Google Sheets, Apps Script, Python, Node.js, and custom dashboard development for marketing, ecommerce, and operations teams.

With a foundation in backend development and data engineering, I build end-to-end systems that connect ingestion, transformation, validation, and reporting instead of treating dashboards as isolated screens.

Most data problems are not actually data problems. They are modeling problems, grain problems, or ownership problems that show up as wrong numbers in a dashboard. I start there — mapping what data exists, what it represents, and where it breaks before reaching stakeholders.

I prefer building systems that are easy to understand after the fact. That means documented grain, explicit validation checks, and transformation layers that separate raw inputs from reporting outputs. Not because it looks tidy but because it makes the system maintainable by someone who was not there when it was built.

I work directly with the people who will use the system — not through account management layers. That usually means fewer misunderstandings, faster iteration, and an honest conversation when the original scope needs to change.
